Booking Conditions
Prices quoted are for room only and do not include a breakfast.
Accommodation will only be reserved upon receipt of valid credit/debit card details. To book by credit/debit card please contact Lindsay or Anne between 4.0 pm and 8.0 pm giving the 16-digit number on the front of the card, expiry date and security code (also the issue number for switch card holders). The first night's accommodation is taken from the card as a deposit and is non-refundable. Payment by cheque must be in Sterling and accompanied by a cheque guarantee card, or sent in sufficient time for funds to be cleared prior to arrival.
IRRESPECTIVE OF THE NUMBER OF EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS RECEIVED, NO BOOKING IS CONFIRMED UNTIL A DEPOSIT HAS BEEN PAID AND DEDUCTED FROM THE PROSPECTIVE GUEST'S ACCOUNT.
Large-group or whole-hostel bookings require a deposit of 50% or 100% of the total cost depending on the time of year. Any outstanding balance is payable upon arrival.
Cancellations
In the event of less than 1 week's notice of non-arrival, the first night will be charged in full. During July and August subsequent booked nights will be charged at 50%. All cancellations must be made in writing.
Large Group or Whole Hostel Bookings
If written cancellation is received a minimum of 4 weeks prior to arrival, the first night's accommodation will be charged in full and any surplus payment refunded. In the event of shorter notice of non-arrival no refund will be made.
While every effort will be made to provide the accommodation as booked, owing to the lack of standardisation of rooms this may not always be possible but best alternative will be provided at no extra charge.
Guests who conduct themselves inappropriately will be excluded from the premises.
Smoking is prohibited anywhere in the building - it is against the law.
